Who We Are
Belgian Tervuren Rescue, Inc (BTR) was founded in 2004 after being a committee function of the American Belgian Tervuren Club (ABTC) since the early 1980’s. Many of the same people who were involved with the ABTC Rescue Committee are still actively involved in BTR. This change allowed BTR to become an independent, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization. BTR is the official rescue program of the American Belgian Tervuren Club. As such, at least one member of the ABTC Board of Directions serves on the board of Belgian Tervuren Rescue, Inc.
